MINA DRAPER BALL

Mrs. Mina F. Ball, 81, formerly of Covington, died at 4:30 p.m. Monday June 21, at the Indiana Masonic Home Hospital at Franklin. She had resided there seven years. Born May 16, 1895, at Wilkinson, she was the daughter of James and Nora Draper. She was married July 4, 1913, to Alfred B. Ball, who died in 1944. A resident of the Indianapolis’ southside for 50 years, she later resided with her son in Covington and Fort Myers Beach, Florida. She was a seamstress for L.S. Ayres in Indianapolis for 20 years. She was a member of the Covington United Methodist Church and the Prospect Order of Eastern Star and White Shrine, both of Indianapolis. Survivors include a son, Robert of Fort Myers Beach, Florida, formerly of Covington; a sister, Mrs. Albert (Ruth) Mosley of Venice, Florida; a brother, Russell Draper of Reelsville; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held Friday at the Stirling Funeral Home, Indianapolis, with burial in Washington Park Cemetery at Indianapolis.
